Serenity NOW!
More recommendations:
Jennie and I just finished watching the Firefly series and the Serenity movie. A number of people recommended it to me and I will, in turn, recommend it as well. A quick warning, though - there's a lot of cheese. There is some clever writing, some good acting (some pretty bad acting, too) and lots of gadgets, guns and spaceships. I'm not about to hit the Firefly convention circuit or anything, but the movie did a pretty nice job of wrapping up the series and making the whole thing satisfying.
Similarly, the series finale of Arrested Development was brilliant. (Thanks for the tip, Bill.) I can't wait until all of the episodes are available on DVD. One of the very last scenes was in the space usually reserved for the phony "next week on..." clips and showed Ron Howard alluding to a movie. Is this the new development scheme for TV/film hybrids?

...uh, some weekend.
I'm ready.
Awesome - how are things going with the other thing you posted about a few days ago?
I think I'm the only nerd not to have watched that.
Good. I'm starting one job on Tuesday but I might still take another job depending how a second interview goes. I've really been riding the line on what the appropriate course of action is in this case because I want to be fair but I don't want to squander a sure thing.
Either way, next time we need money at Larry's, I'll have some.
