Get a Room.
The nice thing about being baseball agnostic is that I can cheer for either team whenever I feel like it, unabashedly. Yes, I'm fully aware that this is probably very annoying to both sides of the fence, but too bad.
Seems like Lou and Ozzie have joined the club. Both were glowing about each other's team over the weekend. Then there's the series of commercials featuring them cavorting together.
I have lifelong Sox fan friends who are quite complementary of the current Cubs squad - EdP even hoping for a quick return of the Soriano. (Maybe it's some sort of zen-like state residual to 2006.) Embittered Cubs fans speak respectfully of the pale hose. Cats and dogs living together!! I am actually somewhat amused by the rivalry, so I'd like to re-start it.
I ask my baseball-loving friends what they think would happen if the Cubs actually did meet the Sox in the world series. Sox fans - no all star players? Still? Not even JD? Cubs fans - what happens if you don't get home field advantage?
Discuss.

I predict it will be the end of civilization as we know it. And I would love every minute of it!!!
