Parking Spots
Having grown up near Woodfield Mall, I've been perplexed by parking spots and their importance for a long while. My wife and I frequently find a relatively remote spot to park when we go shopping but we've seen people circling the lot for that great, front-row spot the entire time it took us to park and walk into the store.
It would make more sense to me if, once you entered the store, you became airborne or just sat down and were moved around with no effort. But at Target, you get out of your car, then walk around for 20 minutes in the store. When you leave, there are cart return stations throughout the parking lot - it's not like you have to walk a cart back, even. (Not that anyone would - people leave their carts where they are only two parking spaces away from a return. That's another whole rant.)
Most people can use the extra exercise, there's less risk of someone dinging your car door, it's easier to get out of the lot when there are no other cars to obscure your view as you back out, and you probably won't have to back out. A few extra steps makes things a lot easier, yet there's some crazy compulsion (probably the same one that makes one pull into the lot to get a bigger TV in the first place) that forces people to go out of their way to avoid those extra steps.

Pfffttt... I just throw the hazards on and leave it parked in the produce section.
What's even worse is people who stop when they see a person loading up their car, put on their turn signal and wait for the space to open up. Because this is usually near the end of the aisle, cars turning into the aisle are stuck on the main drag causing a mini traffic jam. I don't usually have road rage but this puts me over the edge. Thanks for listening.
People who can't use is/are correctly drive me nuts too.

Parking lots are dangerous places to be walking around, often very hot in the summer, and severely lacking in aesthetics. And I personally got better things to be doing in the comfort of my own car.
It takes a certain frame of mind to summon up "Primo Spaces" but it can be done.
Fundamentally of course it is a question of human dignity. When you make that second loop around looking for the Primo Spot, and don't find it, you give up a chunk of your dignity if you decide to pursue your quixotic quest for a third go-round.
After that, your chances diminish exponentially, and there is a strong chance you will descend into madness. And should you find that Primo Spot in the course of losing your soul, it will prove a chimera, a mirage, even fatal. It becomes some Ahab shit.
So, at the outset of your third go-around, that is when it is best to just drive home and order what you wanted online.
Big sky - I think you used "is" correctly! Change "What's" to "the thing that is even worse is" and it makes sense.

We live in a world where everyone is the most important person on the road. Or in the parking lot. And on the sidewalk or stairs, insisting on waddling in the middle so no one can pass on either side.
These people deserve to be pushed out of the way.
Not so easy to do in a motor vehicle, but pushing is one way to teach the over-entitled and self-unaware that there are other people in the world.
Push them real good.
