Busy Busy

Seems like forever between posts these days. October is always a challenge for us with a number of birthdays and our anniversary smack dab in the middle. I've also overextended myself with other projects - not even including the bands. The next few weeks will just be working on each day as it comes and trying to get enough sleep.

The Bears have an exciting new quarterback, but the one they traded away is perfect on the season. Granted, that team has a better, less injured defense, a world-class receiver, a better offensive line, and an offensive game plan that doesn't include running it up the middle every other play. That's about all I'll say on that. (For now.)

One other thing I want to get down in digital ink for reference is the Honey Cafe in Glen Ellyn. We went there a couple weeks back and loved it. Not only was the food good, but where we normally feel stuffed or tired after dinner, we both felt great after eating there. The pot pie and veggie burger were excellent, and we'd make the drive just to eat there again.
